Hide email addresses from SpamBots

Publicizing yourself on the WWW is a double-edged sword. You know you want potential customers to be able to contact you, so the sensible thing would seem to do would seem to be to put your contact email address on your web-page...

WRONG!

About the only thing this will guarantee you is a flood of mail offering dodgy services: as the address will be 'harvested' by bots and sold to the spammers.

There are various methods that allow you to let real humans read your address, and send you emails, but by far the most elegant I have yet come across is a free service called Enkoder, a free service from those awfully nice people at Automatic!

All you need to do is type your requirements into a form and the encrypted code is produced for you to paste into your page. Not even the most intelligent spambot could decipher the code, and the solution doesn't rely on the end-user having Javascript activated.

Thanks for a great solution, and an especial thanks for making it available Free of Charge!
