NetDominus will be assisting Peter at Net Resources with ecommerce training for the current group of GIC students.

We will be looking at several aspects of ecommerce, from a simple PayPal^® driven shopping cart, through a basic hosted ecommerce solution: e-com Cart from Simply, through to a full-blown shop using the Litecommerce package.

If time allows the students will hopefully get an opportunity to gain some hands-on experience of the ecommerce phenomenon.

Never ones to pass up an opportunity, Microsoft have entered the arena of the Search Engines and launched MSN Search which in addition to web results also returns search results from MSN Music and MSN Encarta ® - what's the matter guys - sales not doing so well on these products?

It certainly makes you wonder how they have managed to amass a database of sites said to rival Google's...

What's more, they also aim to search on naturalistic questions - just a minute, though, isn't that what Ask Jeeves! have been doing for years?

Ah well! I suppose given the progenitor, we will have to take them seriously and ensure that our Search Engine Optimization work takes account of results in the newest addition to the Microsoft stable!
